You may have seen the recent BBC Coverage on the issue of organic food not being healthier than non-organic food.  The implications of the study cited were that organic food health benefits were limited to that of reducing pesticide intake – and aside from that, there were no health benefits to purchasing more expensive organic food.

An interesting article over on Science Blogs on the issue of pesticides in food covers the pesticide point well in relationship to this coverage.  I encourage you to read it and consider that even if you don’t think organic has nutritional benefits, reduction in pesticide intake is not such a bad thing.
